Cookie Policy

This cookie policy explains which cookies and browser storage this website uses and why. In short: the site uses a single cookie that remembers your language preference; no advertising or tracking cookies are used.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website you visit stores in your browser and that are sent back to the site with later requests. Browsers also offer storage such as localStorage and sessionStorage; these also keep data in your browser but, unlike cookies, are not sent to the server automatically.

2. The cookie I use

• Name: NEXT_LOCALE • Purpose: remembering the site language you chose. • Type: strictly necessary / functional, first-party cookie. • Duration: 1 year.

This cookie contains only a language code (e.g. tr, en) and is not used to identify or track you. Because it is needed for the site to work in your chosen language, no separate consent is requested.

3. Browser storage

Apart from the cookie, the site uses your browser's storage for two purposes:

• localStorage: stores your light or dark theme preference. It stays in your browser until you delete it. • sessionStorage: stores a flag so that the intro animation plays only once per session. It is deleted when you close the browser tab.

This information stays in your browser only, is not sent to the server and contains no personal data.

4. What is not used, and analytics

This site does not use advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels or third-party tracking cookies. There are no embedded third-party widgets, and fonts are loaded from the site's own server, so no other companies place cookies in your browser through this site.

If enabled, Umami analytics runs on my own server and does not use cookies. It does not store your IP address, does not follow you across sites and does not create personal profiles; it only produces aggregated page view statistics.

5. Admin session cookie

There is a session cookie for the site's admin panel. It is created only when the site owner logs in to the admin panel; it is not placed in visitors' browsers.

6. External links

Links to Telegram, GitHub, LinkedIn and Gmail open in a new tab. Once you go to those sites, their own cookies and cookie policies apply; I have no control over them.

7. How to manage cookies

You can view, delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you delete or block the NEXT_LOCALE cookie, the site opens in the default language and you may need to choose your language again on each visit. If you clear localStorage, your theme preference is reset.

8. Changes and contact

If a new cookie or use of storage is added to the site, this policy will be updated. The current version is always published on this page. For questions, you can write to biilalcayir@gmail.com or contact @Elyziumm on Telegram. Details about your personal data can be found in the Privacy Policy and the KVKK Information Notice.
