1. Who is responsible
The person responsible for personal data on this site is Bilal Çayır, freelance software developer.
• Email: biilalcayir@gmail.com • Telegram: @Elyziumm
Visitors in Türkiye can find further details in the KVKK Information Notice.
2. What data I process
This site has no contact forms and no visitor accounts. The data processed is:
• Server logs: when you visit the site, the server records your IP address, browser information, time of access and the requested page. • Contact data: if you choose to write to me via Telegram or email, the name/username, contact details and message content you share. • Language preference: the NEXT_LOCALE cookie that remembers your chosen language. • Analytics (if enabled): cookieless Umami analytics running on my own server. IP addresses are not stored and no personal profiles are created; only aggregated page view counts are kept.
Your theme preference and the flag that makes the intro animation play once are stored only in your browser and are not sent to the server.
3. Why I use the data
The data is used only to:
• answer your messages, prepare quotes and deliver the work you request, • keep the site secure and working, and detect attacks and errors, • show the site in your chosen language, • (if enabled) understand, in aggregate, which pages are of interest.
Your data is not used for advertising, profiling or sale.
4. Third-party platforms and links
The site contains links to Telegram, GitHub, LinkedIn and Gmail, which open in a new tab. There are no embedded third-party widgets (videos, maps, chat windows, etc.), and fonts are loaded from the site's own server. As a result, no data is sent to these services unless you click a link.
When you click a link or contact me through these platforms, that platform's own privacy policy applies. I use the data you send me through these platforms only to answer you and to quote or deliver the work you request.
To display prices in different currencies, exchange rates are fetched server-side from the European Central Bank; no visitor data is sent in the process.
5. Sharing and international transfers
Your personal data is not sold. The site runs on a server operated by me; the server infrastructure is provided by a data centre based in Istanbul, Türkiye. When you write via Telegram or Gmail, your messages are processed on those platforms' infrastructure, whose servers may be located in other countries.
Apart from this, data is shared with authorities only where required by law.
6. How long data is kept
• Server logs: 30 days for security purposes, then deleted. • Correspondence: until your request is answered and the work is completed; afterwards only as long as needed for statutory retention obligations or possible disputes. • NEXT_LOCALE cookie: 1 year. • Analytics (if enabled): only aggregated statistics that contain no personal data.
7. Your rights
To find out what data I process about you, to request its correction or deletion, or to object to processing, you can contact me at biilalcayir@gmail.com. Visitors in Türkiye can find details of their rights under the KVKK in the KVKK Information Notice.
8. Visitors from the EU (GDPR)
If you are visiting from the European Union and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, your data is processed on the following legal bases: steps prior to entering into a contract and performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)), legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)), and legitimate interest in site security and in answering messages (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Your rights under the GDPR are: • the right of access, • the right to rectification, • the right to erasure, • the right to restriction of processing, • the right to data portability, • the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest, • the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in your country.
9. Changes and contact
This policy may be updated when the site or the way data is processed changes; the current version is always published on this page together with the date of the last update.
For any questions, you can email biilalcayir@gmail.com or write to @Elyziumm on Telegram.
