If your team edits the same file together and you pull in outside data, Google Sheets fits better; for large datasets and desktop macros, Excel. I'm happy to work with whichever you already use.

Both work. Usually I keep your file and improve its formulas and structure; if it's too tangled, I move your data into a new structure without losing anything.

I use your file only for the job and delete my copies after delivery. If you prefer, we can work with anonymised sample data instead of the real thing.

Yes. Formulas and macros are left open and commented, and adding new data needs no changes. For structural changes I can help separately.
