Python is quick to build and easy to maintain for office tools that work with files, Excel, PDFs and data. If your task needs very high performance, I'll honestly suggest C/C++ or another approach.

Yes. At delivery you get all the source code, the dependency list and the steps to rebuild the program.

Packaged Python apps occasionally trigger false positives. I use clean builds to reduce this, and for a lasting fix I can help you set up a code-signing certificate.
